Feature Guides

Welcome Messages

Automatically greet new chatters and make everyone feel welcome. Perfect for building community and encouraging participation.

How It Works

  • First-Time Chatters: Triggered when someone sends their very first message in your channel
  • Returning Viewers: Greet regulars who haven't chatted in a while (you set the timeframe)
  • Smart Cooldowns: Prevents spam by waiting between welcome messages

Customization Options

Message Text: Write your own welcome messages or use our templates

Variables: Use @username, @channel, and more for personalization

Cooldown Period: Set how many seconds between welcome messages (recommended: 10-30s)

Toggle Features: Enable/disable first-time vs returning messages independently

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Kickpilot free to use?

Yes! Our Free plan includes up to 25 custom commands, 5 automated timers, and basic moderation. No credit card required. Upgrade to Pro or Ultimate for advanced features.

Do I need to keep the dashboard open?

No! Kickpilot runs on our cloud servers, so your bot is always active 24/7 - even when you close the dashboard or turn off your computer.

Why do messages show my username instead of 'Kickpilot'?

Messages are sent using your Kick account's access token, so they appear as if you sent them. This is how Kick's API works. To use a separate bot account, create a second Kick account and connect that instead.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. We encrypt sensitive data like OAuth tokens, use secure HTTPS connections, and never sell your information. We follow industry best practices.

Can I customize all the messages?

Yes! Every message, command response, and timer is fully customizable. You can use variables like @username for personalization.

What is AutoChat and how does it work?

AutoChat lets you automatically participate in other Kick channels. It's great for networking and supporting friends. Pro plans include 15 channels, Ultimate includes 50.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes! There are no contracts or commitments. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription anytime from the dashboard.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you're not satisfied, contact support for a full refund.

Troubleshooting

Bot isn't sending messages

  1. 1. Verify your Kick account is still connected in Settings
  2. 2. Check that the specific feature is enabled in your dashboard
  3. 3. Ensure cooldown periods have passed since the last message
  4. 4. Confirm you're streaming or have an active chat session

Connection keeps dropping

Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Kick account. If this persists, it may be a temporary issue with Kick's API. Twitter for status updates.

Settings not saving

Make sure you click "Save Changes" after editing. If settings still don't persist:

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
